Terms & Conditions

General

1)      We do not advocate the use of violence and therefore, our items are sold as collector’s items for display purposes only. If you require a product for a practical application, please contact us for guidance.

Products

1)      Items sold, may have a sharp or pointed edge and/or tip. Please take care to avoid injury. We cannot be held responsible for any injuries incurred.

2)      Items are generic replicas of those seen in the media, unless stated otherwise.

3)      you accept that all swords & knives that are made by machine will have minor imperfections due to the processes used in manufacture. This may include minor scratches, minor marks or indentations, visible glue or irregular finish etc. Therefore, we are unable to exchange or refund products based on these imperfections.

Ordering

1)      By placing an order, you accept the terms and condition as listed below.

2)      You confirm that you are over 18 and the ID provided is genuine and your own.

3)      Proof of age is required for all orders of age restricted items, These include, but not limited to, swords, knives, guns and martial arts items.  A photograph of accepted ID must be emailed before any item can be shipped. Acceptable ID includes valid Drivers Licence, Passport, Citizen Card and other Government issued documents which include your name, photograph and date of birth. Student ID is not accepted.

4)      Failure to provide valid ID within 7 days will invalidate your order.  If payment has already been made, this may be refunded but is subject to a £10 administration fee.

5)      Orders can only be accepted on the appropriate order form and all mandatory fields must be completed.

6)      A telephone number must be included in order for us to contact you for payment.

7)      Items listed as having defects and/or imperfections are exempt from refund.

Shipping

1)      Shipping charges are not included in the item price. As a guide, a single katana will incur a postage and packing fee of approximately £10. Longer items will incur cost of between £15 and £20. Exact fee will be notified before payment is taken.

2)      Items can only be shipped to the person placing the order.

3)      Items are usually dispatched within 7 working days. If expedited dispatch is required, this must be agreed prior to payment.

4)      If the parcel is refused at the provided delivery address, we cannot accept responsibility for any subsequent loss or destruction of the item by the courier. Therefore, please ensure all residents at the delivery address are aware of your pending delivery.

 

Non-Delivery and Damages

1)      You must notify use with 7 days from the dispatch notification email if you item has not been received AND the courier has not made contact with you.

2)      Upon receipt of your item, you are encouraged to check it. You must notify us within 7 days from delivery, of any damages. We may not be able to rectify issues raised after this time.  

3)      We will require photographic evidence of damages incurred during transit

4)      A returns label can be provided for return of damaged goods.

5)      A replacement will be supplied upon receipt of the damages goods. Where a replacement is not available, an alternate item or refund may be offered.

6)      If no damage or fault is found by us, upon receipt of the returned item, you are responsible for return postage.

Cancellations

1)      Should you no longer want the item supplied. Please contact us within 7 days to cancel your order.

2)      A refund can only be issued once the item has been returned to us in its original condition, and within 14 days.

3)      All postage costs are exempt from refund.

4)      You are responsible for return postage. A returns label can be provided but the cost of which, will be deducted from the refund amount.

Maintenance

1)      Metal items are susceptible to rust and therefore, require appropriate storage and/or maintenance. Hand forged products require re-oiling at least one a year. You are advised to clean/oil your product upon receipt. Stainless steel is also liable to rust especially if exposed to moisture. This includes the oils from skin contact. You are therefore advised to clean it regularly.
